James Besong: Business Manager / Deputy Director - Operations

James has been serving at AISOY now for over a decade of 21 years in the international school environment; after 10 years in the corporate business world. Within this time he built strong finance systems that directed school resources to improvement in facilities, materials to enhance teaching and learning; with great analytical reporting skills. Eloquent milestones have been the construction of two new international schools from scratch; the American School of Douala (ASD) and the American International School of Yaounde (AISOY). He also offered pioneer financial consultancy service to the American International School of Brazzaville (AISB) in 2013 to help this new school with the hurdles of new startups. 

He is the Chief Finance Officer at AISOY and Deputy Director for Operations. He holds an MBA in Costs and Financial Management. He is also a certified Positive Discipline in the Workplace Consultant (CPDWPC) and member of the US-based body.
